A young acting couple is rehearsing for an upcoming theater performance when a badly aimed shoe accidentally hits a wealthy stranger passing by. Their awkward encounter quickly becomes an unexpected opportunity: fascinated by theater, he offers them €600 for a private performance at his apartment, promising even more if their acting is convincing enough. The script seems straightforward — she plays an aristocratic woman promised to a wealthy lord, while her boyfriend plays the poor young man she truly loves. But the eccentric director isn’t satisfied with ordinary acting. Determined to make every emotion feel authentic, he keeps rewriting the scene, increasing the payment and blurring the boundary between performance and reality. What began as a quick acting job turns into an increasingly personal test of the couple’s trust, jealousy, ambition, and willingness to stay in character. By the time the performance is over, both actors discover that earning easy money can come with a much higher emotional price than they expected.
